What is the NEET-PG Entrance Test?
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) is a single national-level entrance test required for admission to Medical Post Graduate (MD/MS) and Post Graduate Diploma programs in India. To enroll in an Indian private or public medical college, passing the NEET-PG entrance test is mandatory, except for:

Exam & Application Process
The NEET-PG test lasts three hours and thirty minutes and consists of 300 multiple-choice questions.

Qualifications For MD and MS Admission In India
MD MS admission in India has specific and intricate qualifications for applicants. Students can do some paperwork or formalities to take the NEET PG entrance test and pursue an M.D. or M.S.
To be eligible, applicants must have earned their M.B.B.S. from a school accredited by the National Medical Council with at least a 50% grade point average and have completed their year-long internship on or before March 31. Additionally, applicants must possess an N.M.C. or State Medical Council's provincial or permanent registration certificate.

Eligibility Criteria For AIQ 50% Seats
All applicants for the 50% A.I.Q. Reserved seats must meet the NEET PG eligibility requirements. However, applicants from Jammu and Kashmir are ineligible to register for this type of seat.
The Indian government must select potential candidates from Jammu and Kashmir to be considered for M.B.B.S. courses at a medical college within the state. Such individuals, once chosen, will need to present an affidavit that has been properly signed and states that they were selected for A.I.Q. 50% seats. This must be submitted along with an application form by the deadline.
Eligibility Criteria For Foreign Medical Graduate
Citizens of India or those living abroad who have received a primary medical degree from a medical college outside of India should have passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) administered by the National Board of Examinations. They must also be enrolled with MCI/NMC, having completed their internship on or before March 31, 2023, or be likely to do so.
On the day of testing, foreign medical graduates must bring along their F.M.G.E. Pass certificate, which N.B.E. has issued.
Eligibility Criteria For Foreign Nationals
Foreign national NEET PG 2023 entrance exam aspirants must meet minimal eligibility requirements. Since 2019, registering with N.M.C. to take the test has no longer been necessary.
A temporary registration from the relevant examining body in India is possible for the duration of a postgraduate course.

B.P.K.I.H.S. is a well-known institution in Nepal, established in 1993 and becoming a Health Science University five years later. It is an autonomous university dedicated to increasing the medical workforce, promoting social progress, conducting research, and providing medical services.

CPS Eligibility Criteria
To enroll in any of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (C.P.S.) 's diploma, fellowship, or certificate programs, candidates must first meet the following eligibility criteria:

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has approved all diploma, fellowship, and certificate programs for postgraduate education in India and Malaysia. Gaining a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) degree in India is a specialized and comprehensive program that prepares dentistry graduates for the highest levels of practice. The only way to gain admission is by passing the National Board of Examination (N.B.E.) NEET MDS Entrance.
The exam requires applicants to have completed their B.D.S. degree or an equivalent in dentistry and an internship at a medical college within the country.
Seats are reserved for diploma programs in all states except Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, while private dental colleges make M.D.S. programs accessible. Military medical institutions provide M.D.S. courses as well. The test is held nationwide, and centers will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cost of studying also varies depending on the college one chooses — public or private — but it remains clear that no other entrance exam is accepted to enter these programs apart from NEET MDS.
MDS In India Eligibility
To be eligible to enroll in a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) course in India, applicants must:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery or its equivalent and have registered with the State Dental Council.
- Have completed an internship at a reputable dental institution lasting at least one year.
- Be likely to finish their internship by March 31 of the admission year and have finished their final year (i.e., the last year of their B.D.S. degree).
- Hold the required one-year internship and provincial or permanent registration before starting the academic session.
Eligibility For Foreign Nationals In NEET MDS
- Foreign nationals are not required to be registered with the DCI to take the NEET MDS exam.
- A temporary registration may be obtained from DCI at dental colleges and institutions where the student is enrolled full-time, along with the required registration fees.
- The candidate must present their Compulsory Rotation Resident Internship certificate approved by the head of the institution.
- No 12-month internship shall be excused unless the student batch was enrolled in the 2007–2008 academic year and completed a 4 1/2 years program, plus 6 months internship.
- Candidates must have finished a 5-year B.D.S. program at Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University, without an internship before enrolling in the 2006–2007 academic year.
- All foreign national candidates will strictly not be permitted to appear if they are ineligible in any way.
- Applications from candidates who have degrees or subjects that are not recognized under the Dentists Act will be rejected.
- The deadline for finishing an apprenticeship is March 31 of the admission year. -Candidates cannot take the NEET MDS more than once yearly and cannot apply or show up with multiple applications.
- Candidates currently enrolled in an undergraduate program must meet the prerequisite requirements of that institution to qualify for admission.
- If a candidate is rejected for admission, NBE/MCC/MOHFW will not be held liable in any way for any repercussions faced by them.
